Carole Osborne

Founder

About

Carole’s spent two decades in the creative industry. Starting in an apprenticeship at a local agency she worked her way up into client services, looking after accounts such as Barclays and Aviva to finally running her own department at FoxMurphy. As Founder and Managing Director of Borne, Carole has led and delivered countless projects for a huge variety of national and international clients. Always adaptable, fiercely loyal and caring for both staff and clients, Carole is passionate about creativity and fosters an environment where it can flourish.

Chris Bosher

Head of Strategy

About

Chris joined Borne from Mother, after starting out at TBWA. He’s led award-winning campaigns for Stella Artois, Adidas and the UN, and won a coveted APG for his work on Baileys. At Borne Chris acts as a senior consult for our clients and oversees the effectiveness of our work.

Chris Wilson

Chris started his career client-side almost a decade ago, implementing integrated and digital campaigns in the charity and education sectors before making the leap to agency life / joining the dark side. After a stint at Foolproof where he led delivery on UX design and development projects for Porsche, Suzuki, Shell and Aviva, Chris now leads internal operations at Borne – making sure we deliver for our clients in the most efficient and effective way possible.

Darrel Williams

Head of Design & Creative

About

Darrel joined Borne from Design Bridge & Partners working with the gaming and tech team on brands including Intel, ESL and Faceit. This followed his time as Global Design Director with The&Partnership, where he led work with clients including Aon and TalkTalk; R/GA, Jones Knoles Ritchie, Landor & Fitch and Coley Porter Bell. He has won awards including a Red Dot and Transform awards for his work, including ‘Best Visual Identity (Silver) and ‘Best use of Typography’ for the Post Office rebrand, and BP.

Holly Bamford

Head of Client Services

Holly joined Borne from M&C Saatchi, working across Macleans, Ribena, Direct Line and Daily Mail. She brings her considerable experience in brand building, marketing and comms to bear as a senior partner for our clients, as well as acting as a first port of call for new relationships and overseeing our Client Services team.

Peter Ballard

Non-Executive Chair

With a 25-year career working in marketing, Peter brings a wealth of experience to Borne. After working client-side as Marketing Director of Virgin Money first, he co-founded Foolproof, which grew to become one of the UK’s leading Product and Service Design agencies. Peter now spends his time as an Advisor and Non-Executive Director to a small number of businesses and chairs the board here at Borne.

Sonya is our queen of spreadsheets. She joined us from Lisa Angel, and has experience ranging from auditing big businesses across East Anglia to managing the finances of local companies including Jarrold & Sons Ltd, The Forum Trust, Banham Zoo and Africa Alive (Zsea Ltd).

Anne-Ca joined us from Mother, where she worked on global accounts including IKEA, KFC, Stella Artois, Tiktok, Baileys, Uber Eats, Boots, Greenpeace, Samaritans and Make My Money Matter.

Craig Cutting

Design Lead

About

Craig is a true home-grown talent. Since graduating from NUA ten years ago he has plied his trade with a range of clients including Warner Bros, Savills and AST group, across branding, packaging, integrated advertising and digital projects. At Borne Craig oversees design for the agency, bringing ideas to life in the best ways possible and guiding the team to deliver the highest standards of work. He’s also a craft brewer and founder of Norwich Craft Beer Week – which is as good as you’re imagining.

Emilie Rayner

Culture & Wellbeing Lead

About

Emilie is our guardian angel, responsible for agency culture and the wellbeing of our team. She has been with Borne from day one (or at least day two or three), joining the agency in 2012 having started her career client side at the NHS and RAC.

Eve McDonald

Senior Integrated Producer

About

Eve studied Fine Art in Dublin before heading to London to start her career at global network agency TBWA\London, joining the account management team across brands like Aquafresh, Nissan, Harrods and the International Rescue Committee. She made the leap into production, running integrated productions for Lidl, Harvey Nichols and Pampers, and, after a brief stint freelancing, joined Saatchi & Saatchi as a TV Producer. Eve brings her considerable production experience to all of our clients at Borne – as well as a penchant for strange beer and the occasional glimpse of her baby boy on Zoom calls.

Fay Harris

Account Director

About

Over the last decade, Fay has moved across both creative and account management roles both in-house and now agency-side with Borne. She cut her marketing teeth at NUA for eight years, but has also managed festivals and art initiatives including the historic Norfolk and Norwich Festival, been a copywriter and editor for organisations like the Collection Gallery – and was an assistant director for Babycow on Alan Partridge. Ah Ha.

Jacob Norton

About

After leaving NUA Jacob headed to London, interning at renowned studios Futurebrand and pearlfisher before returning to his native Norfolk. His work places a huge focus on brand experience and integrated design, exploring ideas across every surface.

Jodie Huggins

Production Manager

About

Jodie started her career client-side at Virgin Money / RBS before spending 10 years in client services and digital marketing across brands like Churchill, Direct Line, Eurostar, Virgin Money, Aviva and Tesco whilst at Online Media Group. Becoming a mum-of-two added to her skill-set in project management, negotiating, multi-tasking and working under pressure – which came in handy at a software start-up, UEA, and a civil engineering firm. As part of our production team as a Production Manager, Jodie is the go-to person for all things digital.

Joe started out with print experts Page Bros as a commercial and customer services executive, managing traditional print projects and assisting in the production of personalised products for various clients including Norwich City Football Club. At Borne Joe brings his rigour and attention to detail to bear across all channels – but still loves a print job now and then.

Julia Jourdan

Account Director

About

(Currently on Maternity Leave) Julia graduated from the ESC Troyes business school in her native France before moving to London to join adland. She started media-side, first as a Planner/Buyer at MediaCom, before moving to Carat to manage clients including Tesco Bank, Eurostar, Philips and Sky. She joins Borne from in-housing pioneer The&Partnership, having spent four years at Toyota before leaving the city and discovering the countryside during the pandemic.

Julia’s background is fashion. Before joining the team she was in-house at ASOS and freelance for Selfridges, working as a creative and art director on major campaigns – but her book includes work for Chanel, Estée Lauder, Clinique, Rimmel, Benefit, Matches Fashion, Citröen and Philips.

Kevin Doutzenberg

Kevin came to the UK having worked client-side in his native Holland, to undertake the renowned Brand Leadership MSc programme at UEA. He joined Borne from Krow East where he worked with a range of B2C and B2B clients including Barclays, Disney On Ice and Sabre. And he is an avid Arsenal supporter – which is proof that nobody is perfect.

Natalie Rendle

Management Accountant

Natalie has worked in the finance industry for over 10 years, and now works as a Management Accountant here at Borne. But when she’s not number crunching, she can either be found on or in the ocean, paddling and surfing or running on the beach with her dog Nancy. She was the GBSUP British Women’s National Champion 2022 and has just competed in the ICF World SUP Championships in Thailand!

Sam Watkinson

Sam joined Borne with over a decade of experience in marketing, working with clients including Aviva, Anglian Water, Baking Mad, EFG International, and Strike estate agents. Having worked both client-side and for agencies, across strategy and account management roles, he offers a breadth of expertise – with a particular interest in data and the insight it can provide.

Sherilee Dellar-Witt

Sherilee graduated from NUA armed with a Graphic Design degree (with photography). Starting off designing good-old newspaper and magazine ads, she’s built up over 12 years of experience working on creative campaigns for several local companies such as Aldiss, Richardson’s and SLM before joining us as an Artwork Wizard.

Steve Wisker

Senior Account Director

About

Steve has been developing brands and running campaigns for 15 years. He has considerable experience in both residential and commercial property marketing, returning to his native Norfolk after delivering campaigns across Asia-Pacific for clients like Knight Frank, CBRE and Savills. He’s also a third-generation printer, so what he doesn’t know about print isn’t worth the paper it’s pressed on.
