He joined borne from Mother, the UK’s largest independent agency, where he led strategy on award-winning campaigns for Diageo, Boots, Stella Artois and the United Nations, and picked up a coveted APG award for his strategic work on Baileys. At borne Chris acts as a senior consult for our clients and oversees the effectiveness of our work.

Kate began her career client side, first at John Lewis and then at the British Psychological Society before moving agency-side to global B2B specialist MerchantCantos in London. Whilst there Kate managed integrated B2B campaigns for blue chip clients including Aviva, Merck and Nokia, before joining our team in 2019.

Chris has 30+ years of experience working with both corporations and individual clients as a commercial and in-practice accountant. At borne Chris advises and handles all areas of agency finances – as well as provide a steady stream of Yorkshire dialect. (Insert northern fiscal stereotype here.)
Stuart has a background in journalism, moving client-side to run marketing and comms for NUA then agency-side with The District in Cambridge. Whilst there he led strategy on brands including the Britten Sinfonia, the United Nations and the Wellcome Trust, before joining the strategy team at borne in 2019. Career highs include the UK debut of global bike-share brand Ofo, launching the 8th British Art Show, and being told to f*ck off by Sir John Hurt.

After a stint at Foolproof where he led delivery on UX design and development projects for Porsche, Suzuki, Shell and Aviva, Chris now leads internal operations at borne – making sure we deliver for our clients in the most efficient and effective way possible.
Nadine is another rising star we recruited straight from NUA. Her work blends strong concept with an incredible talent for the hand drawn and handmade, and her illustration has graced a series of campaigns for MSF, as well as work for UEA, Savills and Norfolk County Council.

After a quick trip around the world, the prodigal Norwich native returned home and joined borne, first as a business lead and then as Head of Client Services. She brings her considerable experience in brand building, marketing and comms to bear as a senior partner for our clients, as well as acting as a first port of call for new relationships and overseeing our Client Services team.

Since graduating from NUA ten years ago he has plied his trade with a range of clients including Warner Bros, Savills and AST group, across branding, packaging, integrated advertising and digital projects. Emilie has been with us from day one (or at least day two or three), joining the agency in 2012 having started her career client side at the NHS and RAC. At borne she has led campaigns for MSF, Aspall, UK Active and La Tasca, and oversees borne’s own brand and culture. Emilie is certified by the Chartered Institute of Marketing and French by birth, donc travailler dans une autre langue n’est pas un problème.
Chris has spent over 30 years in the creative industries as a founder, owner and leader. He led a management buyout of his first agency in 1990, then the merger and creation of FoxMurphy in 1997. FoxMurphy grew to 100 people, was listed in the Times top places to work, and made famous and award-winning work for Barclays, Norwich Union, Adnams and Pret A Manger. Chris sold and exited the agency in 2011 and, after running a charity for three years, now works as an advisor, coach, trustee and investor – including his role as Chairman with us. Chris gave Carole her first job at the tender age of 17 – and his input is as valuable now as it was then.
