Teatulia had built its UK business from the ground up – quite literally. Whilst in the US it was a predominantly digital business, in the UK it is brick and mortar based, with a small portfolio of tea bars in exclusive London locations.
Teatulia’s aspiration was to grow online revenue to be a greater proportion of its sales mix – but its website was holding them back.
The only word for the site was clunky – awkward menus systems, lack of clear user journeys and confusing UI meant visitors found it hard to navigate, let alone purchase. There was also a real lack of brand experience consistency across the site and other channels – so consumers might be thrilled in-store, but left frustrated online.
We audited and re-evaluated the site, refining the user journeys and re-architecting the content whilst still connecting with Teatulia’s existing stock management and payment systems.
We also totally refreshed the design, making the site a clean, pure canvas to let its product and story pop.
